Lorien

Lorien
Lorien is a character originally based on a Dungeons and Dragons character of Mike when we lived together at UK. (Mike was my closest male friend. He died in a car accident. I will speak more on this later elsewhere.)

The character was a necromancer by trade and driven almost solely by a desire for power which he understood he would gain solely through knowledge. He is one of five, the weakest of the five, to have passed through the gulf in plains of of the West from which none return.

In this he was become the most pitied of all immortals. He cannot die and has neither reason nor desire to live. All these things are told in the Tale of Lorien, The Quest of Obelieus, or in the Breaking of the Necklace. It is worth noting that these three tales have not yet been wiritten in full and only the Tale of Lorien has even seen paper but they all have a different approach to this same story.

The Tale of Lorien will exist in 2 forms a prose and poetic form. The Lorien Poem is the poetry form of his tale.
